Role Overview:

The Executive Head: People provides enterprise-wide leadership of the People function, driving strategy, governance, and workforce capability across the organisation. Reporting to the Chief People & Brand, the role leads six functional heads and works closely with EXCO and Board committees to shape workforce architecture, strengthen leadership capability, and support organisational performance at an enterprise level.


Minimum requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree (NQF 8+) in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Organisational Development, or a related field
  • Master’s degree (NQF 9) preferred
  • Professional registration with SABPP or equivalent advantageous
  • 15+ years senior HR leadership experience
  • Proven expertise in enterprise People strategy and organisational transformation
  • Strong experience in reward governance and employee relations oversight
  • Experience in complex or regulated environments advantageous
  • Strong engagement experience with Board and EXCO-level stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of organisational design, workforce analytics, and labour legislation
