About the Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team on a short-term contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing technology projects in the digital channel and telecommunications environment, with a solid working knowledge of SCRUM methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects within digital channels and telco environments.
- Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, business analysts, and technical specialists.
- Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution.
- Provide clear and timely project reporting to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Ensure project alignment with business goals, technical requirements, and quality standards.
- Manage change requests, scope variations, and stakeholder communication.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
- Strong understanding and application of SCRUM / Agile methodologies.
- Experience working within digital platforms, online channels, telco systems, or customer-facing technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, integration and deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Midrand, Monday to Friday.
Preferred Skills
Certification in Agile/SCRUM
Telco industry experience (advantageous).
Exposure to digital product development or omni-channel platforms.
