About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Organisational Effectiveness Lead to drive human capital initiatives that enhance business performance through people. This role will lead Centres of Excellence with a systems thinking approach, ensuring the integration of people practices and consistently positive employee experiences. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping organisational culture, fostering leadership development, and embedding best practices across Talent and Performance Management, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Organisational Design, and Culture Transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent & Performance Management

  • Design and implement performance management strategies that drive employee development and business impact.
  • Lead succession planning and talent reviews to build leadership pipelines.
  • Partner with business leaders to create frameworks that align individual and business objectives.

2. Learning & Development

  • Develop and execute innovative learning programs that enhance skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities.
  • Implement learning pathways tailored to business needs, ensuring career development opportunities.
  • Drive digital learning adoption and facilitate leadership development initiatives.

3. Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Design and execute engagement strategies that improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Implement employee listening strategies, including surveys and feedback mechanisms, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop internal communication strategies that align with company values and vision.

4. Organisational Design & Development

  • Lead organisational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business transformation goals.
  • Design structures and frameworks that enhance agility, collaboration, and efficiency.
  • Apply systems thinking to diagnose and solve workforce challenges.

5. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring attraction, selection, and retention of top talent.
  • Design onboarding experiences that accelerate time-to-productivity and enhance employee engagement.
  • Partner with hiring managers to create competency-based hiring frameworks.

6. Corporate Wellness

  • Develop and implement wellness programs that enhance employee well-being and productivity.
  • Integrate mental, physical, and financial wellness strategies into the employee experience.
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure best-in-class wellness initiatives.

7. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

  • Champion DEI initiatives, ensuring an inclusive and diverse workplace.
  • Develop and implement policies that promote equity in hiring, promotion, and leadership development.
  • Foster a culture of belonging through education, training, and engagement.

8. Culture Transformation

  • Lead culture transformation initiatives that align with the organisation’s mission and values.
  • Engage leadership in embedding behaviors that support high performance and collaboration.
  • Measure and track cultural impact, ensuring continuous evolution and alignment with business goals.

9. Employee Relations

  • Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and policies.
  • Implement conflict resolution and mediation strategies to foster a healthy work environment.
  • Support leaders in handling sensitive employee matters effectively and ethically.

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in leadership, Performance, Change Management, Organisational Psychology, HR, or related fields.
  • Proven experience leading Organisational Effectiveness, Talent & Performance, Learning & Development, and Culture Transformation in a corporate setting.
  • Track record of implementing DEI and wellness strategies that drive engagement and performance.
  • Strong project management and change management expertise with a history of driving successful transformation initiatives.

Languages

  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans (preferred).
