Our client is looking for a seasoned Strategic Remuneration Specialist to join their team on an 18-month contract basis. This role is ideal for a confident, influential professional with deep expertise in executive compensation, reward strategy, and governance. The successful candidate will operate at the highest levels of the organisation, including direct engagement with the Remuneration Committee (REMCO), to shape and implement forward-thinking remuneration frameworks that align with business goals and shareholder expectations.
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in remuneration, reward, or compensation & benefits, with at least 5 years at a strategic or executive level.
- Proven track record of operating at REMCO or Board level.
- Strong understanding of executive compensation, incentive design, and governance frameworks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills; able to challenge and guide senior leaders with confidence.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (essential): Typically, in one of the following fields:
- Human Resources Management
- Finance or Accounting
- Business Administration
- Economics or Industrial Psychology
- Postgraduate Degree (highly advantageous):
- MBA (Master of Business Administration)
- Master’s in Human Resource Management or Organizational Development
- Master’s in Finance or Corporate Governance
